2011 Thanksgiving
It was a thankful Thanksgiving this year. It was really great we could all be there to celebrate the holiday. It was a HUGE feast!

Jenny Learns to Fillet a Fish
If she's going to cook it, she needs to know how to fillet it.
Jenny learned, with the help of Adam and Jeff Goodwin, to fillet a fish while we were in Westport. Dana couldn't stop laughing at the faces she made. In the end it wasn't the pretties fillet, but it still tasted delicious at dinner.
2011 Was The Best Summer Ever!
We had a great Summer with Linework. Below are some of our favorite fishing memories of 2011. Sekiu and Westport won't know what hit 'em next year!
Meet Linework
Linework is a 19ft Arima Sea Ranger. She's been a great friend during the summer. We're already planning for halibut season!

Bye Bye Boat
Good memories, good times, it was a good friend. Our first fishing boat went to a new home today. It was on Craigs List for (maybe) three hours and had two phone calls on it. At 8 p.m. we watched it drive off. We can only hope its new family enjoys as many beers, crabs, laughs, fish and naps as we did. On to a new friend. We test drive our (maybe) new boat on Saturday. Stay tuned...

Quote of the weekend
Quote of the weekend "the boat is on F*%KING FIRE!"
On the way to the boat mechanic in Port Orchard Adam looked in the rear view mirror and while on the phone with Pat Walker gave us our quote of the weekend. Turned out a couple wires got hot and twisted together. It was more scary that they were glowing red and sitting on top of the gas tank... now we're contemplating, "Is this a sign from God that he wants us to have a new boat?"

There's been a murder in Tacoma!
For this week's family dinner Adam and I hosted a murder mystery dinner. It was fabulous. Everyone had a character and everyone did an amazing job playing the part. It was so much fun. We had brushetta and meatballs as appetizers. For the main Caesar salad, green beans, rolls, loaded mashed potatoes and Paula Deen pot roast. Dessert was grandma's recipe for bread pudding. Our living room on a normal day: Which we transformed for the night into this:

Adam's Cameo
Check out Adam's fabulous cameo in our friend Scott's blog. He put together an awesome mash-up of this year's epic (as Scott would say) runs. Adam's in the yellow coat.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
