We have our first egg!

The chickens have laid their first egg. It's a little small, which we hear is pretty normal. We are so excited. The other great news is the garden is doing well and producing peas, green beans, carrots, onions, zucchini, and potatoes. This one looks like Mickey Mouse! We're still waiting on pumpkins and corn.

Welcome home baby Sawyer

Thank you to everyone who have been so incredibly supportive. We welcomed baby Sawyer on June 2nd at 4:49 pm at 8lbs 2 oz. It was a long haul getting him here as we checked in Friday, May 31st and left the hospital Wednesday, June 5th. He is a healthy, beautiful baby. We are home and settling into our new family life, loving every minute of it. He is an amazing quite baby, a good eater and a great sleeper. Kona loves his new puppy brother and won't leave his side. We are incredibly blessed to have such amazing friends and family who have given us nothing but love and support. We appreciate all of you and are grateful you are in our lives.

Sawyer's Tehaleh Shower

A large thank you goes out to Willow and everyone who made Sawyer's Tehaleh shower a success. We are incredibly blessed to have such supportive and wonderful people in our life. Here are a few photos of Sawyer's shower at Tehaleh.

Prosecco was given as parting gifts so that once Sawyer arrives, everyone can raise a glass and toast him.

we bought chickens

Adam's carrying the chicks to the register
We visited our neighborhood Wilco store and got some chickens! We got 2 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Barred Plymouth Rock. They will live in the garage with their heat lamp and in about 6 months, they'll lay eggs!

There were lots in this trough

The black ones are the Barred Plymouth Rock and the yellow are the Orpingtons
